This weeks vacation in recap:
Saturday: Fun at the Jazz and Blues Festival. Good music, drinks, and fun!
Sunday: Julie and I took Alex (her son) to the spillway at Pymatuning to feed the fish. We had a good time there, had a picnic, and went to the nature center nearby.
Monday: A relaxing day at the beach, including another picnic and then mini-golf in Edinboro.
Tuesday: I had a job interview, and then we went to the zoo. On the way there I got a call saying I got the job! Rock! So know I work for the Forquer Group as an IT consultant for GE. Which basically means I work at GE and Forquer pays my salary. Good salary and benefits! Woo Hoo! After the Zoo we went to the Tuesday music at Liberty park. New Wave Nation was playing and they were good as always.
Wednesday: We went to the Museum of Natural Science in Cleveland. It was pretty interesting and Alex got his first look at real dinosaur bones!
Thursday: We went to Marineland in Canada. This was my very first trip out of the country! I've never been across the border before. We made it there and back without any issues at all. Marineland is pretty much just an ordinary theme park, but the aquatic animal shows were cool, and so were the huge tanks holding the whales.
Friday: Kind of a do nothing day for me. Julie's mom is hosting a family reunion, and she enlisted Julie to help her with the preparations. Julie's sister Anne and her husband Mike came into town today, so I got to meet them, along with thier 5 kids. Yeah, I said FIVE.
Saturday and Sunday: DeSanis family reunion.
